Abdlmecid II was the last Caliph of Islam from the Ottoman Dynasty, nominally the 37th Head of the Ottoman Imperial House from 1922 to 1924.

OnMay 1868, he was born at Dolmabahe Palace or at Beikta Palace, Beikta, in Islam Pole, Osmans Dream, to then Sultan Abdlaziz and his wife Hayranidil Kadn Efendi. He was educated privately.
